This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica to apply for this role.

Role summary
You will design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications used by large audiences across digital products such as marketplaces and news platforms. This role focuses on developing scalable mobile features, integrating APIs, and delivering reliable user experiences while collaborating closely with product, design, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver new features.

• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces following Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

• Integrate mobile applications with GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and follow modern mobile development best practices.

• Optimize application performance for high traffic and large user bases.

• Manage source control workflows using Git.

• Contribute to the full mobile development lifecycle including development, testing, and App Store submission.

• Explore and adopt new technologies and AI tools to improve development productivity.

Requirements – Must-haves

• 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.

• Experience with Xcode and the iOS App Store submission process.

• Experience integrating mobile apps with GraphQL and REST APIs.

• Strong understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and iOS UX principles.

• Working knowledge of Auto Layout and responsive UI development.

• Experience using Git for version control.

• Experience writing unit and integration tests.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and balance competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves (optional)

• Published applications in the Apple App Store.

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

• Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Shortcut, or Pivotal Tracker.

• Experience optimizing mobile applications for high traffic and scalability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
